Baix is a neighbourhood fine dining restaurant and wine bar located in the heart of the affluent Bayside suburb of Brighton. Founded by renowned chef Ian Curley, the venue and name were inspired by the Baix region in the South of France. The marque was designed to speak to the venue’s focus on food and wine, and locality to the bayside sunsets - a combination of sun, dinner plate and wine bottles. The restaurant, wine bar and private dining room all received unique marks, typefaces and colours to help identify the different sections within the establishment. Baix opened in 2025 to critical praise and was featured in numerous “best of 2025” dining lists.
